The event which takes place Wednesday June 21st in association with the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, will see a screening of Cousins’ film ‘I Am Belfast’, followed by an interview with the director by Declan McGrath.
It takes place in An Taibhdhearc Theatre, Middle Street, Galway City on Wednesday, June 21st.
Cousins will discuss his approach to directing, with some of his larger scale work including the prolific 15 one-hour chapter documentary, ‘The Story of Film: An Odyssey‘, which broadcast on More4 and featured at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival and more intimate projects such as ‘The First Movie’, ‘What is this Film called Love?‘ and ‘6 Desires’.
Upcoming work includes ‘How to Make a Movie: An Eye Opener’, a documentary of over twenty hours with Orson Welles as its subject.
