Paul Schrader, one of the Hollywood’s finest screenwriters whose credits include ‘Taxi Driver’, ‘Raging Bull’, and ‘The Last Temptation of Christ’, will hold a screenwriting masterclass at the forthcoming Galway Film Fleadh in July.

The masterclass, organised by the Galway Film Fleadh in association with Galway Film Centre, will take place on Wednesday the 6th of July.
This half-day masterclass will look at Schrader’s approach to:
• Characterisation
• Plot
• Structure
• Writing Processes
• Critical Influences
• Secular Theology
The Masterclass will be facilitated by Felim Mac Dermott and Antony Sellers.
Admission to the masterclass is by application only. This masterclass would be suitable for participants who are pursuing a career in writing for film and television. Places are limited and participants will be notified if they have been allocated a place. The cost of the half day masterclass will be € 75.
