Biography
Ronan Hill won his third Primetime Emmy for Game Of Thrones S6 "Battle of the Bastards", also winning Primetime Emmys for outstanding sound mixing Game Of Thrones S5 "Hardhome" and Game of Thrones S2 "Blackwater". He has five consecutive Emmy nominations.
Ronan has won four Cinema Audio Society awards in a row for outstanding achievement in sound mixing Game Of Thrones S6 "Battle of the Bastards", GOT S5 "Hardhome", GOT S4 "The Children" and GOT S3 "The Rains of Castamere receiving six consecutive CAS nominations.
He has also won four consecutive Technical Excellence Creativity awards for outstanding creative achievement Game of Thrones S3, S4, S5 + S6.
He won an IFTA for Best Sound in 2014 for Game of Thrones S3, one of five nominations for the show.
He won an IFTA in 2008 for “Kings”, again in 2009 for “Hunger” and has received a total of nine nominations.
Ronan was also nominated for The AMPS Award for Excellence in Sound for a Television Drama 2014 + 2015 + 2016.
