The award winning short film ‘Waterloo Dentures’, from directors Rachael Moriarty and Peter Murphy, has been selected to screen during the HDFest World Tour and the Italian CinemadaMare.
The festival is known as "the world's only high-definition film festival" as the festival showcases features, documentaries and short in HD which have been shot in HD format exclusively. Currently the HD World tour is scheduled for screenings in New York (US). London (UK), Helsinki (Finland), LA (US) and Fort Lauderdale (US).
Produced by Catherine Munro, ‘Waterloo Dentures’ is a tragic love story where young Irish soldier Daniel is forced to leave his lover Clara to fight in the Battle of Waterloo.
In addition, ‘Waterloo Dentures’ has also been selected for the Italian CinemadaMare festival. This international festival features the best of digital cinema from Ireland, Holland, Denmark, Portugal, Poland, Russia and Hungary. The films will travel to the Italian cities of Bari (Puglia), Matera (Basilicata), Rotondella (Basilicata) Corigliano Calabro (Calabria) and Nova Siri (Basilicata) beginning the 15th of July.
