Anne Heffernan joined Mind the Gap Films in 2005. In that time she has produced a number of series across several genres, including "Ireland Dig It!" the young people's archaeology and history adventure series for RTÉ 1; "Adam Hills: Comically Challenged" for BBC Northern Ireland exploring the relationship between stand up comedy and disability (to be broadcast in 2011) and the Irish language observational documentary series "An bhFuil Cead Agam?" for RTÉ 1. Since 2006 she has brought her unique vision and insight as a producer to "Hands On", the programme for the Deaf Community on RTÉ 1, she was series producer on "Sign Up!" the adult literacy series for the Deaf community. Anne is heavily involved in on-going development of new formats and series ideas at Mind the Gap Films for the local and International television market and is currently in pre-production with "The Only Viking In The Village", a two part historical comedy series fronted by Neil Delamere f! or RTÉ 1.
