Biography
Planet of Sound is a full service music supervision and licensing company. Our goal is to find the best music options for our clients and advise them on what rights to obtain for their projects. We will work with the production to identify music needs/placements, formulate music budgets, provide song suggestions (or source composers to create original score), negotiate all license fees and administer all agreements. Our extensive music knowledge and experience in licensing is coupled with our strong relationships with various labels, publishers & managers.
Dina has worked as a Music Supervisor for nearly 20 years. Her experience began at the Oxygen television network (in the U.S) where for over 8 years she ran the Music Department and oversaw music placement for all productions. After leaving Oxygen, Dina started Planet of Sound and has had the opportunity to work on a dynamic range of projects, including most recently the Irish feature film 'The Young Offenders' (film & TV series), 'The Belly of the Whale', independent documentary 'The Queen of Ireland', numerous Discovery Networks productions and promos, including ‘Whale Wars’, ‘Mermaids: A Body Found’, 'Love at First Swipe' and 'Man vs. the Universe' as well as projects with the Blue Man Group, Chevy and the Saints Row Video game series. |
