Multi-instrumentalist 23 year old Brian Mc Grane from Navan Co. Meath, is one of the newest and upcoming young Irish composers. Brian has been playing music since he was six years of age and since then has gone from strength to strength in his musical and creative ability
Brian has had a great career in music for the past 7 years as a session musician, band member and sound engineer but has now turned his attention towards music composition for visual media, an area he has been very keen on for a long time.
Brian's main instrument, the piano, forms the base of his knowledge and understanding for music, composing and creativity. Brian has studied classical piano with the Royal Irish Academy of Music and with a huge interest in Rock, Pop, and Blues, Brian can adapt to any project that is put to him. His other instruments include Guitar, Drums and Trombone.
Setting up his own recording studio, Brian can close the doors and spend hours creating and developing new ideas. He is currently focusing on film scores, TV, radio and advertising and will take on any project and do a fantastic job.
Training:
Live sound and studio engineer for the past seven years. Piano Player for Brian Kennedy. Worked with artists such as Jenna Toro Andrew Quinn and ELI Spring. Worked at Jealoustown studios with producer Stuart Gray on numerous projects. |
Gear: Working on Protools HD 9 with a vast array of plugins with controll room and live rooms. Using Vintec and digidesign Preamps.Korg fully weighted Piano, Fender American Strat, Gibson Les Paul, American Fender Jazz bass, Avalon acoustic guitar, Mesa boogie Triaxis and fender amps, PDP Drums and hardware, Akg, Sure and Sennheiser microphones and much more.
