| Having left school at the age of 17,Ross joined Windmill Lane Pictures in 1994 as a camera assistant, While there he gained valuable experience in all aspects of TV production. In 1996 he graduated to the position of Sound recordist working on several Programs,Documentaries and Commercials for Windmill Lane including U2's "Pop Mart" World tour.
He joined the newly founded TV3 Ireland in Sept 1998 as a cameraman filming News,Ireland Am 20/20 and Agenda. In 2001 he set up Gaucho Films and began working as a freelance Lighting Cameraman. Since going out on his own Ross has gone from strength to strength in his work covering many miles and has filmed in over a hundred countries on all continents filming Commercials, Documentaries, Lifestyle, Entertainment, Sports, Reality and Travel for RTE, TG4, BBC, UTV, Channel 4, NBC, SKY, MTV amassing many awards along the way. |
