A first trailer has been released for Borderline, a new detective series produced by ShinAwiL, starring Eoin Macken, Amy De Bhrún and Lochlann O’Mearáin.
The series will premiere in the US on the Roku Channel on 1st September, and in the UK/Ireland on MGM+ on 2nd September.
In the series, strait-laced Northern Irish detective inspector Philip Boyd (Eoin Macken) finds himself working alongside his foul-mouthed Republic of Ireland counterpart, detective inspector Aoife Regan (Amy De Bhrún), and although neither are happy about the partnership, the two must put their personal and professional differences aside to solve the brutal cases of victims along the border.
Borderline was created and written by John Forte. Robert Quinn directs, while Steve November and Mary Callery are executive producers. The series is produced by ShinAwiL and Further South Productions in association with Screen Ireland and Lionsgate Television. Lionsgate is distributiing the series internationally.
