The Irish Film Board has announced the successful applicants for the Frameworks 8 scheme. They are as follows:
Among Strangers to be produced by Metropolitan Films and directed by Naomi Wilson.
The Pope’s Visit to be produced by Illusion Animated Productions and directed by Gary Blatchford.
God’s Kitchen to be produced by Fat Lisa Productions and directed by Rory Bresnihan.
Dublin 1 to be produced by Monster Animation & Design and directed by Jason Tammemagi.
Fisherman and His Soul to be produced by Guerilla Films and directed by Vladislav Bairamgulov.
Hugo Mellon Show to be produced by Flickerpix Animations and directed by Joel Simon.
Frameworks aims to add to the range and scope of Irish animation. We hope to encourage new and established animators who may wish to realise more personal and creative projects.
