Virgin Media Television launches brand new morning TV schedule

Virgin Media Television (VMTV) has launched a brand new morning TV schedule with Virgin Media One broadcasting live studio content from 7am until 1pm each weekday.

Ireland AM, the country’s only dedicated breakfast TV show will be extended by 30 minutes from Monday onwards, broadcasting live from 7am to 11am on weekdays. The longer programme will bring viewers more news, cookery, fashion and lifestyle plus live reports from around the country.

Celebrities from Una Healy, Rory Cowan, Kodaline’s Steve Garrigan and Bronagh Gallagher are just some of the guests joining the show this week.   

Elaine will air directly after Ireland AM in a brand new mid-morning timeslot from 11am – 12 noon.

On tomorrow’s show the self-proclaimed Bearded Lady will make an appearance, opening up about life with facial hair and her decision to embrace the condition. She’ll also be joined by a lady who decided to have twins by a surrogate in her mid-50s.

Live at 12, a new one hour news programme anchored by Colette Fitzpatrick will launch tomorrow.  Live from the Virgin Media News Hub, it will bring viewers the latest breaking news and sport with live reports from around the country and discussion on the big stories of the day.
