A Lorra’ Love For Graham To Be New ‘Blind Dates’ Host

The 53-year-old Irish chat show host Graham Norton, from Clondalkin is currently the bookies favourite to take the presenting slot for the remake of ‘Blind Dates’ on Channel 5.

The popular Saturday night dating show famously fronted by the late Cilla Black, first aired on ITV in 1985 and ran for 18 years.

It is set to make a revamped come back to broadcaster Channel 5 later this year, after more than 13 years off air.

‘Our Graham’ is currently the bookies favourite to take cupid’s bow for the presenting role alongside other names such as; ‘Big Brother’ host Emma Willis, ‘This Morning’ presenter Holly Willoughby, ‘Gogglebox’ star Scarlet Moffatt, Rylan Clark ‘X-Factor’and Davina McCall ‘The Jump’ who are all in the mix of being the new host.

The new ‘Blind Date’ show will be produced for Channel  5 by So Television the production company behind BBC’s ‘The Graham Norton Show’ and also set up by Graham Norton and Producer Graham Stuart back in September 2000.

So Television specialises in Comedy, Entertainment, Factual Entertainment, Children's, Drama and Online formats. It was purchased by ITV Studios in September 2012 and is based in Boundary Row, London.
