Screen Skills Ireland to no longer operate as a separate brand from mid-December 2021

Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland has announced the full integration of Screen Skills Ireland’s skills development activity within the agency.

In Screen Ireland’s recently published strategy, Building for a Creative Future 2024, outlined investment in talent and skills as a key strategic objective to support the future success of the Irish screen industry.

In line with this, Screen Skills Ireland will no longer operate as a separate brand from mid-December 2021, and will become fully aligned with Screen Ireland as the agency’s skills development team. All skills-related activities will continue as usual. 

This closer alignment, which will include email newsletter, social media channels and moving online activities to the Screen Ireland site. The move, Screen Ireland has stated: “will enable all teams to continue providing high quality skills development opportunities to further our ambitions for significant employment opportunities in the sector and sustained creative excellence in screen storytelling.”
