Crime Drama Kin premieres Sunday 9.30pm on RTÉ One

The eight-part crime drama series set in Dublin premiere's on Sunday September 12, 9.30pm.

Filmed in Dublin, Kin features British actor Charlie Cox (Daredevil; The Theory of Everything) alongisde an exciting cast of Irish actors including Clare Dunne (Herself), Aidan Gillen (The Wire), Ciarán Hinds (The Woman in Black), Sam Keeley (Anthropoid), Emmett Scanlan (Peaky Blinders), Maria Doyle Kennedy (The Tudors) and newcomer Tasmin Seky. 

Directed by Diarmuid Goggins and Tessa Hoffe, written by Ciaran Donnelly and Peter McKenna, Kin follows the lives of the fictional Dublin family the Kinsellas. When a boy is killed, his family   embark on a gangland war with an international cartel. The Kinsellas find themselves outnumbered and outgunned, but they have something the cartel does not, the unbreakable bond of blood and family.

The eight-part series is produced by Vikings and Tudors producers Morgan O’Sullivan and James Flynn through their Metropolitan Films banner, and has secured sales deals with international streaming service AMC+.

Kin will premiere on RTÉ One  at 9:30pm on Sunday September 12th.
