Althea Screen Actor's Agency Officially Launches in Dublin
23 Jan 2019 : News Desk
The new agency is focused solely on representing actors dedicated to the medium of film.

Run by Bow Street graduate Sarah Allen Clarke, Dublin’s newest actor’s agency opened its doors in late 2018 with a view to represent and give a voice to new and established Irish and international talent.

Speaking about the launch, Sarah Allen Clarke told IFTN:

"ALTHEA Screen Actor's Agency officially launched on Friday last with a gathering at Dublin's Hacienda. As a graduate of The Programme for Screen Acting at Bow Street, I wanted to give voice and provide a platform to the exceptional acting talent in Ireland who are drawn to working solely in film. ALTHEA is derived from the Greek word for spirit of truth.”

“The film industry in Ireland is growing every year and those actors who feel compelled to work only in the medium of film need representation that understands being a screen actor is a very specific thing that is exceptionally different to other art forms"
