Irish feature film ‘North Circular Road’ has begun principal photography in Dublin this week, using Hanlon’s Corner on the city’s north side as its prime location.
The independent feature will shoot in the capital until September 8, with Dublin’s Dark Window Media and Brazilian production company Red Line Filmes, which is based in Dublin, co-producing.
The supernatural drama is centred around young couple Janice and Matthew, whose lives are turned upside down when Janice encounters ghosts in their new dream home.
Irish actors PAt O'Donnell (Tin Can Man), Lorna Larkin, Irene Wright (The Shadows), Simon Fogarty (Ninety Seconds), Patrick Molloy and Mick Fitzgerald all star, while German actress Vanessa Richter will make her acting debut in the low-budget film.
Paul Heary and Donal Nugent are directing from a script written by Nugent, with Michael Parle and Kathy Horgan producing. Heary will edit in post-production.
