my name is Mairead Butler and i am 28 years of age, living in Dublin city, I have been living here for just under 10 years now, but I am orignaly from Castlebar co Mayo. I have trained in the Gaiety school of acting, completing the performance and advanced performance year from 2008 – 2010. I have also completed a casting workshop with Gillian Renalds and Ali Coffey from fishpond Casting and a Text and Neutrality workshop with Paul Kennedy and the Fire & Ice Theatre Company.

The majority of my theatre experience does come from the showcases of the Gaiety School of Acting which were held at the end of every term, but they do show a wide verity of charters, ages and backgrounds. I have however just finished working on a short film and will have a show reel shortly and going to any audition I get word of.
