This year’s line-up is composed of one director, two producers and two actors, including Colm Seoighe of the 2017 opening film ‘Song of Granite’.
Fellow actor Dafhyd Flynn from Frank Berry’s ‘Michael Inside’ is also nominated as is Donna Eperon, the producer on the title. ‘Michael Inside’ screens at 20:00 on Friday, July 14th in the Town Hall Theatre.
Producer Kate McColgan of ‘The Drummer and the Keeper’ (Nick Kelly) is also nominated, with that film also screening on July 14th in the Town Hall Theatre, but at the earlier time of 18:00.
Finally director Chris Baugh of ‘Bad Day for the Cut’ is also up for the award, which celebrates the standout upcoming talents in the industry at the Fleadh each year.

Last year’s nominees were Caoilfhionn Dunne, Seána Kerslake, Tara Lee and Peter Foott, with Kerslake taking home the award for her performance in ‘A Date for Mad Mary’.
